Dear musician friends and students,
Faced with the unexpected success encountered by the implementation of video courses during the confinement period and after, we decided to develop this technique in order to allow as many people as possible, in France and abroad, to follow our teaching thanks to to a specific and unique pedagogy and method.
The video music course should not automatically replace the face-to-face course, but it provides an appropriate response to distances and events like the one we have just gone through.
It is important, now even more than before, that our musical traditions are accessible and passed on to everyone, and in the best conditions regardless of the tools used, such as Skype© or other videoconferencing applications. Just make sure you have a good Internet connection – Wi-Fi, 4G, H+ or 3G –, stable, and an adequate sound receiver (microphone or modern mobile phone).

You wish to improve your skills in trumpet, hunting horn, music theory or singing ? Join the Institut Musical Dromer ! This pedagogical structure is distinguished by recognized and qualified professionals.
Directed by Nicolas Dromer, international soloist, you can join us in the halls of the Institute or in our IMD annexes.
The Institute organizes concerts, masterclasses and workshops of music, in France and abroad, with the participation of high-level teachers. Finally, we offer choral singing lessons and projects many directories.

This new school year promises to be exceptional. The opening of our new Canadian annex in Montreal grows the IMD Family and its commitment to educational training.
The year 2021-2022 has been unique in terms of the progress of our students.100% success in the Hunting Horn basics exam (Brevet du Sonneur, BS), many validated BS modules and very good successes in personal goals or competitions.
From the start of the 2022 academic year, the IMD saw the birth of the student horn group, which is added to the Horn Ensemble of the Dromer Musical Institute, formation created and composed of prestigious musicians in 2019.
Finally, for the sake of accessibility and proximity, despite the inflation that everyone is experiencing, the IMD has chosen not to increase the prices of its courses for the year 2023. We are trying to keep the concern to be able to help all students and hunting horn enthusiasts, whatever the social and health situations.
